81. Cobra

80. Piranha 3DD
Seriously what the fuck is this piece of shit? Awful, awful film. Bad CGI, mind blowingly bad acting, rubbish boobs, shit gore, terrible 3D, awful payoff. David Hasselhoff was the best bit about the film and that should tell you all you need to know.
There will definitely be a third which is a crime against cinema. This makes Piranha 3D (which is actually pretty good) look like Citizen Kane.
Just no.
79. Going To Pieces : The Rise & Fall of The Slasher Film
This is a pretty good documentary for those who are into the slasher genre, it stays on course for it’s 90 minute running time and the interviews are with the directors, actors you would expect (Felissa Rose is a pain in the arse though)
It gives the right amount of screen time to the right films although it really could have expanded on the Italian influence on the genre. It does brush aside the deadweight towards the end of the genres first cycle, there are some gems in thick of the shit.
Good interviews with Carpenter, Savini, Zito and I would really have liked to have heard from Lustig. Rob Zombie can fuck right off though. Once I have drained the Poliziotteschi I am definitely revisiting some seminal slashers.
75. The Grey
What a massive treat this film was. Very unexpected

74. Rolling Thunder

66. Blue Velvet

Not sure what I can say about this film that hasn’t already been said. It’s a masterpiece, a stone cold classic and has reignited my love affair with David Lynch. Next up Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive
64. The Cabin In The Woods
Not sure what I can say about this without spoiling the shit out of it. Good, fresh, funny spin on the horror genre and it’s stereotypes. By no means will it change the future of horror as it is a complete one off and for a horror film lacks what a horror film should have………the scare.
63. The Burbs
If/when I have kids I will raise them on a steady diet of Joe Dante, well bar Piranaha.

59. God Bless America
So much promise let down by too many opinions. Bobcat Goldthwait is an incredibly unique and controversial director and his messages are clear in his film making, however God Bless America is one giant fuck you that loses its way big time during the third act.
It’s definitely worth a re watch at some point as it has some genuinely brilliant scenes but overall came across as a tad bit boring.
